Tipy na talenty...

 

Death Knights (rytíři smrti) jsou známí ze série strategií s názvem Warcraft, jako nekromanceři s magickým runovým mečem schopni ovládat mrtvé i nemrtvé. Typický je také jejich kůň označovaný jako "Deathcharger".

Každý hráč, který vlastní postavu s levelem alespoň 55 si bude schopen vytvořit vlastního Death Knighta. Jeho vytvoření nebude o nic těžší, než je tomu u "normálních" povolání, takže žádné zdlouhavé plnění questů a nebo objetování stávající postavy. Death Knight bude také dostupný všem hratelným rasám.

Startujeme na levelu 55

Čerstvě vytvořený Death Knight bude začínat na levelu 55, pravděpodobně v lokaci Eastern Plaguelands. Designerský tým Blizzardu pro vás připravil speciální uvitací questy, které vám pomohou s ovládáním postavy, ale také objasní proč se Death Knighti přidali k Hordě a Alianci. Death Knight bude začínat s plným počtem abilit a kouzel. Cestování vám usnadní typický nemrtvý kůň tzv. Deathcharger, kterého získáte podobným způsobem jako je tomu například u paladina.

Role a talenty

Death Knight bude nosit plátovou zbroj a bude kombinovat schopnosti tanka, schopného ustát boje v malých dungeonech, stejně jako ve velkých raidech, a schopnostmi damage-dealera, využívajícího jak oslabující nakažení svých nepřátel, tak i přímého poškození a instantních útoků.

Talentové stromy budou doplněny o tzv. Presence - aury, působící pouze na samotného Death Knighta. Vybráním příslušné Presence se rozšíří ability pro zvolený talentový strom.

 

Blood: Talenty v tomto stromě jsou zaměřeny na damage-dealing.
Blood Presence procentuelně zvyšuje poškození.

 

 

Frost: Tento talentový strom je zaměřený na tankování. Frost Presence procentuelně zvyšuje threat a zároveň snižuje utrpené poškození.

 

 

Unholy: Poslední talentový strom obsahuje mnoho abilit jako například vyvolávání, nákazy a mnoho dalších zaměřených na PvP. Unholy Presence zvyšuje rychlost útoku a snižuje globální cooldown death knightových abilit.

 

Runy

Zdrojem síly každého Death Knighta jsou runy a runová síla:

Runy: Každá abilita potřebuje ke svému použití runy - blood, frost a unholy. Některé ability vyžadují jen jeden typ run, zatímco jiné jejich kombinaci. Když je runa použita, chvíli trvá, než se dobyje a bude připravena k dalšímu použití. Každý Death Knight si může zvolit jakých šest run bude mít právě aktivních, a tak lépe využít své schopnosti. Například tank si zvolí více Frost run, než damage-dealer.

Runová síla: Pokaždé, když je některá z run použita, přibude death knightovi k využití další zdroj energie - runová síla. Death Knigh bude mít k dispozici určité ability, které spotřebují všechnu dostupnou runovou sílu. Jejich účinnost se odvíjí od množství použité síly. Stejně jako Warriorova rage, runová síla časem vyprchá, pokud není využita.

Vyvolané bytosti

Neopomentelnou schopností Death Knighta je také vyvolávání bytostí z nežijících.

Raise Dead: Death Knight si může vyvolat ghoula z padlé bytosti, a to jak nepřátelské, tak i přátelské. Pokud bude tato abilita použita na mrtvolu přátelského hráče, převtělí se tento hráč do ghoula a může ho plně ovládat.

Army of the Dead: Toto chanellované kouzlo vyvolá skupinu nemrtvých posluhovačů, kteří napadnou Death Knightovi nepřátele. Po krátké chvíli se ale rozpadnou.

Summon Deathcharger: Každý Death Knight si bde moci přivolat deatchargera - klasického pozemního mounta. Na vyšším levelu se po splnění série může naučit ovládat i epickou verzi.
